Gasthof Höhensteiger.

The “Gasthof Höhensteiger” is one of the old-established hotels in Bayern, Germany. Managed in 5th generation and having a capacity for events with up to 500 guests it has an excellent reputation even beyond the region. Especially as soccer training camp it is well-known. Thus, famous soccer teams such as 1. FC Köln, TSV 1860 München or VfB Stuttgart do their training here regularly. Nevertheless, in the meantime even US college and university teams belong to its regular guests.

The sanitary sector of the hotel got a little bit old-fashioned and a general renovation was absolutely necessary. The designers from Emotionsraum (www.emotionsraum.de) developed a totally new and exceptional sanitary concept. The idea of "Emotionsraum" was to redesign the room into an area of adventure. In this purpose, a perfect choice of materials and colours has been chosen which perfectly combined the landscape and the concept of the historical hotel.

Schäfer Trennwandsysteme GmbH realized this design process. In the women's area toilet partition walls out of glass of the type VITRUM III printed by an individually designed picture of asters have been arranged. Even due to its minimalist fittings the system Vitrum III is a very good choice for projects where the main focus is put on glass. In the men's area partition walls of the type EF-3 LIGHT have been arranged. The room was painted in a simple white as the wall design as well as the birchwood logs placed in the room have already been quite colourful. The wall claddings have also been designed of glass with digital print. As a consequence, man really gets the impression of standing behind the tree. The very successful realization of the overall concept is stunning and exceptional.
