MS Ultramarine.

The MS Ultramarine is the newest expedition ship of the market leader in the polar travel segment Quark Expeditions and stands out especially due to its equipment.

In terms of environmental protection this ship uses a Micro Auto Gasification System, which converts waste into energy directly at the point of generation. The 128m-long ship is equipped with two twin-engine helicopters with corresponding landing pads. These air cabs allow passengers to explore destinations not only by land or sea, but also by air. With 20 available Zodiacs polar experiences can be made even faster and more personalized for guests.

The public WC facilities were  designed to be functional, of high quality as well as aesthetically pleasing in order to convey a feel-good character to passengers. The installed WC partition walls of the type EF-3 Marine from Schäfer meet these high requirements. The spa and wellness area was also furnished with the EF-3 Marine WC partition wall from Schäfer Trennwandsysteme.The EF-3 Marine WC partition has been specially developed for use at sea. It fulfils all the prescribed requirements for marine products and meets the high demands placed on them. EF-3 Marine sanitary partitions are absolutely seawater resistant and are designed according to the applicable fire protection regulations.
