Schäfer Trennwandsysteme is PEFC-certified (PEFC/04-31-3143). PEFC certification supports the traceability of timber and wood-based materials throughout the supply chain and confirms compliance with the requirements of the PEFC standard for certified materials.

In addition, Schäfer Trennwandsysteme holds FSC™certification (FSC™-C147242). For a large part of our product range, products can be supplied using FSC™-certified wood-based materials in accordance with the applicable FSC™ requirements. FSC™ and PEFC are internationally recognized certification systems that support responsible forest management and the traceability of wood-based raw materials throughout the supply chain.

For selected product groups, environmental information is also available in the form of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These provide standardized and independently verified information on a product's environmental impacts throughout its life cycle. More information

EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) are standardized environmental declarations for products. These EPDs provide a transparent overview of a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle. For example, the declaration provides information on resource consumption, CO2 emissions, and more.

At Schäfer Trennwandsysteme, we are the first and only manufacturer of sanitary partitions to have certified EPDs for our product portfolio:

• Partition walls made of chipboard
• Partition walls made of sandwich panels
• Partition walls made of glass
• Partition walls and furniture made of HPL

The EPDs we provide for selected product groups offer transparent and standardized information on their environmental impacts. Our EPDs provide reliable and transparent environmental metrics across the entire life cycle of our products—from raw material extraction to disposal.
